TEC Owners Club.
Where We Started..
The TEC owners club was set up by a group of individuals who
owned TEC vans. It was formed in 2002 and has grown from
strength to strength ever since.
Some things have changed but on the whole the rallies are
informal and are designed so that a weekend away is relaxing and
restful.

The name T.E. Caravans derives from Thrun and Eicker, the founders of the
brand. Today T.E.C. wants to be a brand for the young and active people and
for the young at heart. The slogan “Enjoy your leisure time actively” expresses
this idea – a slogan to live and travel actively, independently and in good
health.
History goes back to 1957 and since then T.E.C. is in constant progress. In 1997
T.E.C. share of the German caravan market was 2.3%, in the season 2003/2004
it reached 3.7%. It is also the same story with motorhomes. The production
began in 1997 and the share of the market has been increasing since then
from 1.6% to 2.8%.
In the season 2003/04 1944 caravans and 608 motorhomes have been built. In
comparison to the season 1998/99, this is an increase of about 50% or even
twice as many as in a period of 5 years.
Further goals will be the opening up of new dealerships in other European
markets such as France, Spain, Great Britain and Scandinavia.
