nice and safe.
A very big welcome to both the 2 new members who joined us for
the weekend and hoped you all enjoyed your time with the Rally.

Saturday everyone spent the day doing their own thing.

Saturday evening everyone entered into the spirit of the evening
and doned their fancy dress and some very good efforts were made
..
well done everyone.. very well done.

               November Rally

It all started with a beautiful sunny friday at Diamond farm. One by
one vans turned up to be shown to there weekend retreat in the
Oxfordshire countryside. By early evening 15 units had arrived and
successfully parked. Later that evening we took advantage of the
facilities available on site, "The Bar". Snooker was played by some
and others started to play pass the parcel. Not your usual pass the
parcel, the prize a shot of whatever Hilary could find in her magic
bag. once again are entertainment organisers lead by example and
few members successfully completed the game, only to suffer the
next morning. Strange how it seemed to be the female members who
faired worse, nothing to do with D.J. Gary I suppose!!!
Saturday again was a beautiful day and preparation work began for
the evenings display while most ventured out for the day. Later that
day 2 more units arrived to make it a record attendance for any rally.
17 units. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout with many new
faces mixed with regular and old faces. We started with the barbeque
at 5-30 followed by an amazing firework display supplied by Gary of
Elite Caravans.Thank you to Gary for such a fantastic display. Once
again we headed for the bar area where things were a bit more
subdued than friday night. I think several head were still a bit fuzzy
Then along came sunday morning. Breakfast was cooked on the
barbeque and raffle tickets sold.In the spirit of a family rally the
children had their own raffle which seemed to go down very well.
After a brief word from our chairman Mark the raffles were carried
out, climaxing with Whistling Kettle!!! Well done Pete for winning it. It
was then time to depart. After many goodbyes the site was clear by
2-30.
Well done to all who help to organise and run this fantastic rally, and
thanks to you,the members, for supporting us by attending. We look
forward to seeing you all again in 2008.

Thanks to Ken for the write up

                                            December  Rally.

Once again we find ourselves back at Diamond Farm nr
Bletchington, Oxfordshire.
5 units turned up for the New Years celebration held by the wardens
at Diamond Farm.
Despite some wet weather to start with, which made for poor ground
conditions, we soon settled in for the forthcoming celebrations.
Sunday was free and easy with the last unit turning up by lunchtime.
Unfortunately,due to illness
Craig & Lisa were unable to attend. hope Freya is now feeling better.
Monday again was spent relaxing and final visits to the local
shopping centre prior to getting ready for the year end.
8-00 the party began in the bar area available on the site, 65 guest in
total attended, 14 of which were TEC members. we enjoyed an
excellent cold buffet and a sing-along to the kareoke kindly
supplied by Tony & Leslie. Along came midnight & 2008 was greeted
with auld lang syne, champagne
& a toast to the New Year & our friends & families before the New
Year ritual of trying to beat the mobile network meltdown to text or
speak to those we had left behind!!!
A wonderful time was had with no bad heads, well none admitted
anyway, so a special thanks to Jackie & Elaine for hosting a brilliant
party, who incidentally have invited the TEC owners club back again
for the 2008/2009 celebration, more details to be announced later.
Finally a very special message to a very special member, Bill Hickles,
who, despite his medical problems
continues to serve the club as Rally Secretary. Bill will be under
going surgery on 02/01/08. so our best wishes are with you Bill, for a
speedy recovery & see you on our forthcoming rallies.
Happy New Year to you all. hope to see you in 2008.

once again Ken many thanks for the write up.
